Please note that all transactions will be carried out in British Pound Sterling.
Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers.
In stock items will be despatched asap, normally within 5 working days. Please allow 14 days for delivery, you will be kept informed as to your order of progress.
Credit or Debit Card payments are welcomed. We accept most major credit and debit cards. Your details are taken online by secure server. Your credit card information is not disclosed to any third party.
You may also pay by phone, please place your order by calling us on 01769 581700. Web site prices are already discounted and Telephone orders may not be the cheapest way to purchase.
Goods shall remain the property of Devon Rim Company Limited until payment has been made in full and funds are cleared.
Our prices are set out on our website in both Pounds Sterling and Export prices less UK VAT for qualifying orders and are inclusive of United Kingdom-rated VAT where applicable. You are responsible for the disclosure and payment of any import duties or other taxes which apply in the country to which the products are delivered. Prices remain in force until we publish new prices either on our website or elsewhere, these prices may be changed at any time.
Whilst we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, mistakes can sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as being cancelled. If the order is cancelled, we will refund any money which we have taken from you provided delivery has not been attempted and/or refused.
Devon Rim Company Limited reserve the right to amend our prices at anytime without prior notice.
i) Special Order Items – Special order items and those items deemed non-standard, pre order or out of stock and as such may be subject to “non returnable” conditions. Devon Rim Company Limited reserve the right to class any item as special whether in stock at time of ordering or not. Non returnable items are those items deemed to be special order and or non stock and as such may not be returned unless proved to be faulty or by prior agreement. Devon Rim Company Limited reserve the right to accept or not accept any item for return.

ii) Specials are processed for payment at date of manufacture, not date of shipping. This means you may be charged well in advance of your order being received.

iii) Any item manufactured from information supplied by the customer is considered “Special Order” and Devon Rim Company are not responsible for any issues relating to items manufactured under these circumstances.
Right Of Cancellation – The United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations 2000 provide you with a right to cancel your order for products at any time up to the end of the seventh working day following the day after the day on which you received the products. Monies will be refunded to original payment method. If goods have already been dispatched and/or received before cancelation it is the responsibility of the purchaser to cover all costs incurred when returning the goods. Right of cancellation does not include those items classed as specials.
Return Goods no longer required or Faulty – Items which prove unsuitable may be returned with prior agrement for refund, credit or exchange if they are returned to us within 20 working days of receipt. Subject to the following conditions

. Items are returned in their original condition in suitable protective packaging at the customers expense.

. Items are received in re-saleable condition. Items should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund. Items returned may be subject to a re-stocking charge of not less than 20%.

. Items purchased have not been altered or affected in any way.

. All return items will require prior agreement and a return reference number will consequently be issued.

. Items are not considered special order items.
. Faulty or Damaged in transit items must be notified within 20 working days of delivery, Devon Rim Company Ltd reserve the right to decline Replacement or Credit on all cases outside this period.

. If in doubt contact us for confirmation of item status before ordering. When you commit to but it is assumed that you have read, understood and agreed to all our terms and conditions.

. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Specials – Items are considered to be special order if they are items specifically produced for your order or to your specifications. These may include items shown on our web site that are produced to order only. Devon Rim Company Limited reserve the right to refuse return or restocking of special order items or any other item produced in conjunction with your specifications.
We are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty or incorrectly supplied parts, therefore it is the purchasers responsibility to ensure all items are suitable for use prior to assembly and /or fitting.
Product Liability – No liability will be accepted for products where they have been altered or built by a third party. All items are considered to be component parts and as such it is the responsibility of the end user / fitter to ensure the final use / fitment is fit for purpose. All our products have been manufactured as close to original parts as possible but are produced to work in conjunction with items we do not have access to and may in some cases be many decades old and subjected to prior alteration. Devon Rim Company Limited are not responsible in any event for issues related with these types of effects.
All items are to be fitted by a suitably qualified person. Ultimately this will be at the discretion of Devon Rim Company Limited.
It is ultimately the customers’ responsibility to check the items they are purchasing are correct for the application required. Devon Rim Company Limited, are in no way responsible for incorrect choice of product. The pictures on the website are there as a guide only, if you are in doubt please call us for confirmation.
Delivery - Our aim it to get your stock products order delivered within 5 working days of receipt of payment to addresses within the United Kingdom and within 14 working days of receipt of payment to all other addresses (Please allow up to 28 days for delivery) unless otherwise stated on the website at time of ordering. All products require a signature when delivered. If products are returned to us as undeliverable we shall attempt to contact you to arrange re-delivery. This may incur an additional carriage and admin charges. If we are unable to contact you we will refund the price of the products only provided it is not a special order item. The original postage charge cannot be refunded due to administrative and un-retrievable costs. Once the products are delivered they will become your risk and we will not be liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction to them. We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.
